Beautiful, delicious, homemade cookies are a hallmark of the holiday season. Fortunately, you and the kids can create beautifully decorated cookies without spending hours in the kitchen. These 5 easy and adorable ideas for decking out your cookie platter require minimal time but deliver tons of cheer.

Peppermint Candy Cane 
Step 1: Begin with cane-shaped sugar cookies 
Step 2: Using a spoon, drizzle cookies with melted white chocolate 
Step 3: Sprinkle with crushed candy canes or peppermint candies 

Rudolph 
Step 1: Begin with gingerbread men flipped upside down 
Step 2: Snip a tiny bit off the corner of a resealable plastic and fill with white frosting (or use a piping bag) to pipe on antlers, eyes, and a smile
