Brats with Guacamole and Salsa

This recipe for brats is like a cross between a hot dog and a taco. Add a splash of hot sauce if you like it spicy.

Ingredients

> 1 (16 oz) pkg bratwurst
> 1 plum tomato
> 1 jalapeño
> 1/2 (14 oz) tub guacamole
> 5 hot dog buns
> 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill the bratwurst for 10–12 min., turning often, or until lightly charred and no pink remains in the middle.

Meanwhile, chop the tomato into small chunks. Thinly slice the jalapeño into rings and scrape out the seeds.

Spread the guacamole inside of the buns. Top each with the cooked brat, chopped tomatoes, and shredded Cheddar cheese. Finish topping with the sliced jalapeños.
