This creamy pudding of chia seeds and oats will satisfy any sweet tooth. Make this the night before and keep in the fridge for an easy way to start your day.
4 cups low-fat milk
2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup chia seeds
4 tbsp Nature's Promise Organic Pure Maple Syrup
1/4 cup peeled chopped hazelnuts
In a medium saucepan, heat the milk to a simmer on medium. Reduce heat to low, add the oats. Cook 5 min., until thickened, stirring occasionally. Stir in the cocoa powder, salt, 3 tbsp of the chia seeds, and 3 tbsp of the maple syrup. Remove from heat and let stand 5 min.
Slice the bananas in half lengthwise and cut each half into thirds. Divide oatmeal mixture among 4 bowls. Top each bowl with 2 pieces of banana, chopped hazelnuts, and remaining chia seeds. Drizzle with remaining maple syrup.
