Grapefruit Margaritas

The addition of sweet and tart grapefruits makes this margarita a Paloma, a restaurant-worthy cocktail that you can enjoy at home.

Ingredients

> 3 large red grapefruit
> 1 1/2 tsp kosher or margarita salt
> 3/4 cup white tequila
> 1/4 cup Triple Sec
> 1/2 cup lemon lime soda

Halve the grapefruit and squeeze 2 cups juice, reserving 1 squeezed half.

Add the salt to a small dish. Use reserved grapefruit half to moisten the rims of 4 margarita or cocktail glasses. Dip glasses into the salt to coat rims, then fill with ice.

To a cocktail shaker, add grapefruit juice, tequila, and triple sec. Add ice, cover, and shake well. Strain into rimmed glasses and top each with the lemon-lime soda.

Tips
