Store-bought sugar cookies get a Halloween skeleton upgrade thanks to melted chocolate and a sugar glaze in this easy 4-ingredient dessert.
1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 tbsp milk
12 sugar cookies
4 oz dark chocolate
In a shallow bowl, stir together the sugar and milk until smooth. Dip tops of cookies into glaze and let sit on wire rack, glazed-sides up, until glaze is set.
Chop the chocolate and add to microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-sec. intervals, until melted, stirring in between intervals. Let cool 10 min., until slightly thickened. Transfer to small resealable bag or piping bag.
With kitchen shears, snip small hole in corner of bag. When glaze is set, pipe chocolate onto glaze to form eyes, nose, and mouth.
