Avocado Chia Smoothie

Avocado adds a dose of good fats, chia adds protein, and kale and apples add vitamins and fiber. The result is a sweet, creamy, healthful way to start the day. If you don’t have a powerful blender, use a food processor.

Ingredients

> 2 avocados
> 2 apples
> 8 oz frozen kale
> 2 1/2 cups  mineral water
> 2 tbsp chia seeds

Steps

Cut the avocados in half lengthways. Remove the pit, scoop out the flesh and place in a blender or food processor. Cut the apples into quarters and remove the cores.

Add apple, kale, water and chia seeds to the blender and pulse in 30 second intervals until smooth. Pour into 4 glasses and serve immediately.
