Robert Irvine’s Classic Beef Nachos

It would not be gameday without a serving of these epic, seasoned beef nachos. Chef Irvine has created a combination of flavor you will not forget! Recipe provided by Chef Irvine and The Coca-Cola Company.

Ingredients

> 1 lb ground beef
> 2 tbsp cumin
> 1 tbsp coriander
> 1/2 tbsp smoked paprika
> 1/2 tbsp chili powder
> 2 tbsp kosher salt
> 1 tbsp black pepper
> 1 tsp cayenne  or hot chili powder of choice
> 1 tbsp grape seed  or olive oil
> 1 large yellow onion diced
> 1 bag tortilla chips
> 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
> 1 lb mixed shredded cheese, cheddar, jack and mozzarella
> 2 cups salsa
> 2 cups roasted salsa (or sub salsa of preference)
> 2 cups sour cream
> 2 cups guacamole
> 1/2 cup cilantro

Preheat the oven at 400 degrees.

Meanwhile on the stovetop, brown the ground beef and diced onions over medium-high heat with all the seasonings until fully cooked (about 8 minutes) and drain. While the beef is cooking, add a generous layer of chips onto heat proof baking dishes.

Once the beef is done and drained spoon it over the chips, then add the beans over the beef, top generously with the cheese and bake at 400 degrees until cheese is melted.

Remove from the oven and top with the salsas, sour cream and guacamole.
