8 oz cherry tomatoes

3 cloves garlic

8 oz linguine

½ cup chopped fresh parsley

½ cup chopped fresh basil

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

½ cup shaved Parmesan cheese

Halve the tomatoes and slice the garlic. In a wide, straight skillet, combine 3 cups water, linguine, tomatoes, garlic, ¼ cup parsley, ¼ cup basil, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.

Boil mixture, using tongs to turn ingredients so they cook evenly, for about 8–10 minutes, or until pasta is al dente and most of the water is absorbed.

Toss with remaining basil and parsley and top with shaved Parmesan.
