Pink Lemonade Sports Drink

Hydrate on a hot day with this easy homemade sports drink that will keep you hydrated with less sugar than store-bough sports drinks. Adults can opt for the tart cherry juice, while kids will enjoy the slightly sweeter pomegranate juice.

> 3 cups water
> 3/4 cup pomegranate juice or tart cherry juice
> 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (from about 2 lemons)
> 2 tbsp maple syrup
> 1/4 tsp salt
> Ice, to serve (optional)


In a large pitcher, combine the water, pomegranate juice, lemon juice, maple syrup, and salt. Stir until salt dissolves. Serve over ice or refrigerate until serving.


This homemade sports drink will keep in the refrigerator for about 5 days. Stir before serving.
