Ingredients

> 2 large red bell peppers
> 2 tbsp olive oil
> 1 (1 1/4 lb) pkg 90% lean ground beef patties (4 count)
> 4 hamburger buns
> 1/2 (8 oz) spreadable pub cheese
> Lettuce leaves, to serve
> Tomato slices, to serve
> Ketchup, to serve
> Mustard, to serve

Steps

1
Set grill to medium-high. Quarter each bell pepper and remove seeds. In a large bowl, toss the peppers and oil to coat. Season with salt and pepper.
2
Place peppers directly on grill grates. Grill 8–10 min., turning occasionally, until blistered and slightly charred on all sides. Meanwhile, season the beef patties with salt and pepper on both sides. Place on grill. Grill 4–5 min. per side, until desired doneness.
3
During the last minute of grilling, place the buns, cut-side down, on grill. Divide the pub cheese evenly among burgers. Let melt slightly.
4
Remove buns from grill. Add cooked burger to each bun and top with grilled peppers, lettuce, and tomato. Top with ketchup and/or mustard and top bun.
