Air Fryer Crispy Lemon Pepper Beans

Cooking beans in the air fryer turns them into a super crispy snack. Try these lemony beans for a protein-packed bite or instead of croutons on a salad.

Ingredients

> 2 (15 oz) cans lima beans, drained and rinsed
> 2 tbsp olive oil
> 1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
> 1 tsp garlic powder

Preheat air fryer to 375°F. Pat the lima beans dry with a paper towel and transfer to a medium bowl. Drizzle with the oil and toss to coat. Add the lemon pepper seasoning and garlic powder. Season with salt and toss to coat.

In batches, add lima beans to basket. Cook 15–20 min., until golden, shaking basket halfway through. Serve immediately or pack for a snack on the go.

Tips

To use dried beans, soak 1½ cups dried lima beans overnight. In a pot of boiling water, cook the beans for 30 min., until tender. Follow the same air-frying instructions as above.
