Ingredients

1 cup sauerkraut

1 tsp caraway seeds

4 slices bacon

4 hot dogs

4 hot dog buns

2 tbsp yellow mustard

Place the sauerkraut in a saucepan with ½ cup water and caraway seeds. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat 10 min. Drain.

While sauerkraut cooks, wrap 1 slice of bacon around each hot dog. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon-wrapped hot dogs 4-6 min., or until bacon is crisp, turning frequently.

Spread the bottom halves of the hot dog buns with mustard. Top with the sauerkraut and hot dogs. Serve immediately.
Tips
You can substitute bratwurst for the hot dogs.
