Preheat the oven to 350 ° F.

Thinly slice the apricots.

Spread the bread slices with the butter and jam and cut diagonally in half.

Grease a 7x11-inch or 9x9-inch baking dish and arrange the bread slices in an overlapping pattern. Scatter with the sliced dried apricots and raisins.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, milk, vanilla and sugar.

Pour the egg-cream mixture over the bread in the baking dish. Sprinkle lightly with nutmeg.
