> 1 lb ground beef
> 1 (10.5 oz) can Campbell's condensed French onion soup
> 4 slices American cheese
> 4 tbsp canned crispy fried onions
> 4 Pepperidge Farm sesame topped hamburger buns
Heat a 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Shape the beef into 4 (½-inch-thick) burgers and add to the pan.
Cook until well browned, about 6–7 min. each side. Remove the burgers from the skillet. Pour out any fat.
Stir the soup in the skillet and heat to a boil. Return the burgers to the skillet and reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 min. or until the burgers are cooked through.
Top the burgers with the cheese, cover, and cook until the cheese is melted. Serve the burgers, topped with the crispy onions, on the buns using the remaining soup mixture for dipping.
