3 cups self-rising flour
>
1/4 cup sugar
>
1/2 tsp onion powder
>
1/4 tsp salt

1 cup shredded extra-sharp cheddar, divided

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x5-inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, onion powder, and salt. Stir in the beer until dough comes together and is well mixed. Fold in ¾ cup Cheddar and the chives. Transfer batter to prepared pan. Bake 30 min.
