Ingredients

1 (10 oz) bag dark or milk chocolate melting wafers

1 (10 oz) bag white vanilla melting wafers
>
1/4 cup finely crushed candy canes or peppermints
>
Nonpareils, as needed
>
Holiday sprinkles, as needed

Sanding sugar, as needed

30 vanilla, chocolate, and/or strawberry sugar wafer cookies

To 2 separate medium microwave-safe bowls, add the chocolate melting wafers and white melting wafers. Microwave in 30-sec. intervals, until melted, stirring between intervals. Add the crushed candy canes, sprinkles, and other decorations to small bowls.

Dip half of a wafer cookie into either melted white or dark chocolate. Working quickly (before chocolate sets), hold dipped cookie over a bowl with decorations and sprinkle over top of cookie. Place finished cookie on a parchment-lined cookie sheet to set.

Repeat with remaining cookies and decorations. Once cookies are set, store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
Tips
To make reindeer wafer cookies, dip ¾ of each wafer into melted chocolate. Before chocolate sets, break a mini pretzel in half and add to chocolate for the antlers. Add candy eyes and a red candy-coated chocolate piece for the nose.
