Ingredients

> 1 (13.25 oz) box Betty Crocker ™ Favorites Super Moist Yellow Cake Mix
> 1 cup water
> 1/3 cup vegetable oil
> 3 large eggs
> 2 (16 oz) cans Betty Crocker ™ Vanilla Rich & Creamy Frosting
> Green food coloring
> 14-inch cake board or serving platter
> Red ribbon, for decorating
> Red, white, and green holiday sprinkles, for decorating
> Unwrapped mini candy canes
> Holiday candies like cinnamon candies, for decorating

Steps

1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line 2 (12-cup) muffin pans with cupcake liners. Prepare the cake mix according to package directions using the water, oil, and eggs. (Mix will make 22 cupcakes.)
2
Bake cupcakes 20–22 min., until toothpick inserted into centers comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 min., then remove from pan to finish cooling.
3
To a large bowl, add vanilla frosting. Stir in green food coloring, a couple drops at a time, until desired color is achieved. Transfer frosting to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip. Arrange cupcakes on the cake board or serving platter into a wreath shape, with a larger outer circle and smaller inner circle.
4
Starting from the center of each cupcake, pipe large flat swirls of frosting into a rose pattern, overlapping the frosting between the cupcakes. If needed, pipe small stars over any gaps of frosting to make a full wreath. Tie red ribbon as a bow and arrange at bottom of wreath. Decorate cupcake wreath with the holiday sprinkles, candy canes, and other candy as desired.
