Ingredients
>
6 blood or navel oranges, halved
>
2 lemons, halved, plus more to taste
>
1/4 cup maple syrup, plus more to taste
>
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
>
2 cups store-bought ruby red grapefruit juice
>
2 (6.8 oz) bottles Fever-Tree Ginger Beer
>
Ruby red grapefruit or blood orange slices, to serve (optional)
Steps
1
Place a fine-mesh sieve over a glass measuring cup. Squeeze the oranges and lemons into measuring cup. (You should have at least 1 cup blood orange juice and ¼ cup lemon juice.)
2
To a medium pitcher, add the maple syrup and cinnamon. Stir to combine. Add orange and lemon juices and the grapefruit juice. Taste, adding more maple syrup or lemon juice if desired. Refrigerate if not serving immediately.
3
To serve, add ice to pitcher. Divide juice mixture among glasses, filling each about two-thirds full. Top with the ginger beer. Garnish rims of glasses with citrus slices, if desired.
Tips
Citrus juices and maple syrup can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Stir before dividing among glasses.
