1/4 cup jarred sofrito

2 tbsp Cotija cheese

To a food processor, add the black beans, sofrito, and cumin. Season with salt and pepper. Pulse until combined, adding 2 to 3 tbsp water if needed for a thinner consistency.

Transfer black bean dip to a bowl. Refrigerate if desired until ready to serve. Top with the cotija cheese and serve with the plantain chips. Garnish with chopped cilantro, if desired.
