> 4 large bulbs fennel
> 1/4 tbsp olive oil
> 1/4 tbsp butter, melted
> 1 lemon
> 1 tbsp fleur-de-sel (or other coarse salt)
Preheat the broiler to high. Remove the stem from the fennel and trim bottoms. Slice fennel in half lengthwise and cut into ¼-inch wedges. On a foil-lined baking sheet, toss fennel and oil. Spread fennel in single layer.
Broil fennel 7 min. Flip fennel and broil 3 min., until tender and some charred spots appear. Transfer to a serving platter. Drizzle with butter and zest the lemon over the fennel. Sprinkle with the fleur-de-sel.
