4 onions, peeled and sliced

2 cups flour

1 pint Guinness beer

Mix together 2 cups flour and 1 pint Guinness to create a batter.

Pour vegetable oil in medium-sized pot and heat until the temperature reaches 350°F.

Working in batches, dip sliced onion rings into batter, then into oil.

Fry, flipping once or twice, for about 2 minutes and drain on paper towels.
