Iced Chai Latte

Ingredients

> 4 bags chai tea 
> 3 cups ice
> 1/3 cup fat-free half-and-half
> 2 tbsp sugar
> 1 tsp vanilla extract

In a small pot, heat 3 cups water to boiling on high. Remove from heat and add the tea bags. Refrigerate tea until no longer hot. Discard tea bags, squeezing liquid from them.

To a blender, add the cool tea, ice, half-and-half, sugar, and vanilla. Blend until smooth. Divide between 2 tall glasses and serve immediately.

Tips

For a stronger chai flavor, add a few crushed cardamom pods and slices of fresh ginger to the water when heating to a boil. Discard cardamom and ginger before blending.
