> 8 oz large macaroni or rigatoni pasta
> 2 sweet or mild Italian sausage links
> 2 tbsp olive oil
> 1 (24 oz) jar pasta sauce
> 2 (8 oz) balls fresh mozzarella
> ⅓ cup fresh basil
Cook the macaroni according to package directions until al dente.
Meanwhile, remove the sausages from their casings. Heat oil in a large pan and fry meat over medium-high heat for 5 min. Add the pasta sauce and cook over medium heat for 5 min.
Cut the mozzarella into cubes and tear the basil leaves into pieces. Drain the pasta and add to the sauce, then stir until well-combined. Sprinkle with mozzarella and stir again. Top with basil and serve immediately.
