> 1 cup cola
> 1/3 cup loosely packed brown sugar
> 1/2 cup cider vinegar
> 1/4 cup chopped onion
> 3 cloves garlic
> 1 tbsp olive oil
> 1 tsp dry mustard
> 1 tsp ground black pepper
> 1 lb top round London broil  or flank steak


For the marinade, in a medium bowl, whisk together cola, brown sugar, vinegar, onion, garlic, oil, mustard and pepper. Place beef in a large glass dish. Pour marinade over beef and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat grill to high (400∘F - 450∘ F). Remove beef from marinade; discard marinade
Grill 5 - 7 minutes per side (145∘F for medium-rare) or desired doneness. Transfer to a cutting board; let stand 5 minutes. Slice beef thinly across the grain into thin slices, and serve
