2 apples

2 cups rolled oats

Preheat oven to 325°F. Grate the apples and set in a bowl. Add the rolled oats, raisins, and ¾ of the almonds together with the melted butter and salt. With wet hands, knead mixture together to form a cohesive dough.

Using wet hands, roll 12 balls and press flat into disks. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with the rest of the almonds. Bake on the middle rack of the oven for about 30 min., or until golden brown. Remove from oven and transfer to a wire rack to cool.
