Penne alla Vodka with Bacon and Peas

Ingredients

> 6 slices thick cut bacon
> 1 cup chopped onion
> 1 (25 oz) jar Taste of Inspirations® Vodka Pasta Sauce
> 1 (16 oz) box penne pasta
> 1 cup frozen peas
> 4 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Steps

Heat a large pasta pot on medium heat. Cut the bacon into large chunks and add to the pot. Cook for 4-5 min or until lightly browned.

Add the chopped onion and cook for 2-3 min. or until softened.

Add the Taste of Inspirations Vodka Pasta Sauce, then fill the sauce jar to the top with water and add to pot. Bring sauce to a simmer at medium low heat.

Add the dry pasta to the pot. Cover, and cook for 12-15 min., stirring often, or until pasta is tender.

Mix in peas and Parmesan cheese. Bowl up and enjoy.
