Pesto Chicken Open-Faced Sandwiches

Toasted bread with pesto, shredded chicken, roasted peppers, and mixed greens made a delicious open-faced sandwich. Add extra lettuce and remove the bread to turn this fantastic sandwich into a crowd-pleasing salad.

Ingredients

> 8 slices Pepperidge Farm white original bread
> 1 (12 oz) jar roasted peppers
> 1 (7 oz) pkg pesto
> 2 cups mixed greens
> 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken

Toast the bread. Meanwhile, slice the roasted peppers into strips. Spread the pesto evenly among the bread slices. Top with mixed greens and sliced roasted peppers. Add ¼ cup chicken on top of each slice of bread.
