Poached Egg Hack

Enjoy a poached egg any day of the week with this easy breakfast hack. Microwaving the egg saves time with both cooking and cleanup.

> 1 cup water
> 1 egg
> 1 piece whole-wheat bread, toasted (optional)


Fill a microwave-safe mug with the water. Crack the egg into the water.
Microwave for 70 sec. (If not done, microwave in 15 sec. increments until egg is cooked.) Carefully transfer egg from the cup to a paper towel to drain. Serve on toast, if desired.


For a complete breakfast, serve with sliced avocado and cherry tomatoes.
