Sugared Prosecco Grapes

This easy holiday appetizer positively sparkles, and not just because the grapes are soaked in bubbly. A coating of sugar and optional edible glitter makes them twinkle.

> 2 cups red seedless grapes
> 2 cups green seedless grapes
> 2 cups prosecco or sparkling wine
> 1/4 cup granulated sugar
> Edible silver glitter (optional)


Remove stems from the grapes, if needed, and wash grapes. To an 8x8-inch dish, add grapes and cover with the prosecco. Refrigerate grapes for 12 hours or overnight.
On a large plate or in a shallow bowl, combine the sugar and glitter, if using. Drain grapes and toss in sugar. Freeze at least 4 hours.
