> 3/4 cup pomegranate juice
> 1 tbsp sugar
> 1 (750 ml) bottle fruity dry red wine, chilled
> Pinch of ground cloves
> Pinch of ground cinnamon
> ice, for serving
> 1 (750 ml) bottle dry sparkling white wine, chilled
In a pitcher, stir together the pomegranate juice and sugar until sugar dissolves. Add the red wine, cloves, and cinnamon. Refrigerate until cold.
Serve over ice, topped with the sparkling wine to taste.
