Ingredients
>
1 spaghetti squash
>
1 tbsp olive oil, plus extra for greasing
>
1 lb ground beef
>
2 cups marinara sauce
>
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
>
Garlic powder, basil, salt, pepper, and oregano to taste
Steps
1
Preheat oven to 450°F. Slice your spaghetti squash in half (length-wise), and scoop out the seeds/flesh with a spoon. Lightly brush spaghetti squash with olive oil, and bake for 30 minutes (skin side up).
2
Remove squash from the oven, let cool, and use a fork to scrape out the spaghetti strands. Add olive oil and ground beef to a skillet, and saute on medium-high heat until beef is crumbled and fully cooked (about 8 minutes). Add squash and marinara sauce to the skillet, and mix until combined.
3
Sprinkle with a layer of mozzarella cheese, and bake for 10-15 minutes.
