24 HERSHEY´S KISSES Milk Chocolate with Grinch® Foils

Green sanding sugar
>
1 (17.5 oz) package sugar cookie mix
>
1 stick of butter and 1 egg called for on sugar cookie mix package
>
Blue food coloring
>
Yellow food coloring
>
Red heart-shaped sprinkles or red decorating icing

Heat oven to 375°F. Remove wrappers from chocolates; set aside.

Mix cookie dough following package directions for cutout cookies. Using food coloring, tint cookie dough to the desired shade of green.

Shape dough into 48 equal balls (about 1 inch each). Roll in green sanding sugar. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until edges are lightly browned and cookie is set. Remove from oven; cool 2 minutes. Press milk chocolate piece into center of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.

Place remaining 2 chocolate candies in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 15 seconds; until melted and smooth. Using toothpick dab a small bit of melted chocolate to the back of heart-shaped sprinkle and attach to cookie or pipe heart onto each cookie using red frosting.
