Turkey and Mozzarella Sandwiches

Sweet and tart cherries are a wonderful match for deli turkey in this quick and seasonal sandwich.

Ingredients

> 1/2 (8 oz) pkg mozzarella
> 1 (13 oz) pkg baguette
> 8 leaves butter lettuce
> 1/2 lb deli turkey breast slices
> 1/2 cup pitted cherries
> 2 tbsp fresh basil

Steps

Tear the mozzarella into pieces. Halve the baguette lengthwise and divide the lettuce, turkey breast, mozzarella, and cherries evenly among the bottom halves of the baguette.

Garnish with basil leaves and sprinkle with pepper. Place the top of the bread on, cut into 4 pieces and serve.
