Ingredients

> Cooking spray
> 1/2 (16 oz) box elbow macaroni
> 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
> 8 oz deli American cheese
> 1 (15.2 oz) can canned whole corn kernels, drained
> 1 (14.75 oz) can canned cream-style corn
> 2 cups grated sharp Cheddar cheese
> 1/4 cup sliced green onions, to garnish (optional)

Steps

1
Preheat oven to 350°F with a rack in the center position. Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with the cooking spray. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the macaroni until almost al dente, about 6 min. Drain well.
2
Meanwhile, cut the butter and American cheese into small pieces. Return drained pasta to pot and add butter, American cheese, whole kernel corn, cream-style corn, and Cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper. On low heat, melt the butter and cheese, stirring constantly. Transfer pasta mixture to prepared baking dish.
3
Bake 40–45 min., until top is golden. If desired, garnish with the green onions.
