3 cups shredded Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese, divided
Heat non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Open & flatten each bun. Spread outside of each bun with 1 tbsp. butter. Place on skillet, butter side down. Sprinkle top of buns with 1 ½ cups of the cheese.
Slice hot dogs lengthwise to lay flat on grill. Grill hot dogs, flat side down, until they start to brown. Flip and grill other side for another minute. Transfer hot dogs to buns and sprinkle with remaining 1 ½ cups of cheese.
Close buns over hot dogs & grill until cheese is completely melted.
