This hot and crispy pizza pocket comes together quickly while camping thanks to a hot fire and a mountain pie maker.
Mountain pie iron
2 slices white bread
1 tbsp pizza sauce
2 tbsp shredded part-skim mozzarella
4- 5 slices pepperoni or 10-12 slice mini pepperoni
Open the mountain pie iron and spray insides with the cooking spray. Place slices of bread on either side of pie iron. Top one side with the pizza sauce, mozzarella, then pepperoni. Clamp the pie iron shut.
Toast mountain pie in fire 5 min. for a very hot fire or 8 min. for a smaller fire, until toasted, flipping pie iron halfway through cooking time. Carefully open pie iron and remove pie. Let stand 2 min. before eating.
