Bacon and Pineapple Skewers

Serve barbecue sauce on the side for dipping. This would also be delicious with mushrooms, red pepper chunks or cherry tomatoes instead of pineapple.

Ingredients

> 12 slices bacon, cut in half lengthwise, halfs cut across (48 pieces)
> 48 2 1/2 cm chunks fresh pineapple

Preheat barbecue on medium-high.

Thread bacon and pineapple onto 12 bamboo or metal skewers, wrapping the bacon pieces around the pineapple chunks.

Cook the kebabs on aluminum foil for about 4 min. each side, or to your liking.
