6 corn cobs, shucked

Bring a large pot of generously salted water to a boil on high. When water is boiling, add the corn and cook 6 min., until corn is halfway fully cooked. Drain corn, let cool slightly, and pat dry with paper towels.

Set grill to medium-high. Lightly brush the corn with the oil and season with salt and pepper. Grill corn 7–10 min., until charred in spots, turning occasionally. Meanwhile, add the butter and honey to a small bowl. Microwave until butter is melted. During the last minute of grilling corn, brush butter mixture over corn. Serve immediately.
