Ingredients

> 1 aluminium foil pie plate
> 1/4 cup popcorn kernels
> 1 tbsp vegetable oil
> Heavy duty foil
> Salt
> Chili powder, garlic powder, dry ranch seasoning (optional)

Steps

1
Arrange a grate over a hot fire. In the pie plate, combine the popcorn kernels and oil. Cover pie plate with the foil, creating a dome on top and crimping edges tightly to seal.
2
Place pie plate on grate over fire (or alternatively on grill set to high). With barbecue tongs, shake pie plate occasionally. Cook 7–9 min., until popping slows to 2–3 sec. in between pops. Remove from fire and carefully uncover. Season with salt to taste. Add additional seasonings, if desired.
