For the simple syrup:

> 3/4 cup sugar
> 1 (0.5 oz) pkg Nature's Promise® Organic Mint

For the tea:

> 5 cups water, divided
> 6 black tea bags
> 1/2 cup lemon juice
> Ice, to serve

Steps

1
Make the simple syrup: To a small saucepan on medium, add the sugar and ¾ cup water. Cook 5 min., until sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add the mint to pot and press down so mint is submerged. Let steep at least 15 min. Strain simple syrup into a resealable jar. Discard used mint leaves and allow syrup to cool to room temperature.
2
Make the tea: Meanwhile, in a second small saucepan on medium, bring 4 cups water to a simmer. Turn off the heat and add the tea bags. Let steep 5 min. Remove and discard tea bags. Allow tea to cool completely.
3
In a large pitcher, combine tea, simple syrup, remaining 1 cup water, and the lemon juice. Stir until combined. Serve over ice.
