Tips

How to Make the Roasted Garlic: Heat oven to 400°F. Cut a 1/4- to 1/2-inch-thick slice off the top of 1 large head of garlic to expose the tops of the garlic cloves. (You will need to roast 8 to 10 cloves of garlic to get the 3 Tbsp. mashed roasted garlic needed to prepare this recipe.) Place garlic, cut side up, on a sheet of foil; drizzle with 1 Tbsp. olive oil. Wrap in foil. Place in baking pan. Bake 30 to 40 min. or until garlic cloves are softened and lightly browned. Cool garlic before using as directed. Refrigerate any remaining roasted garlic up to 1 week before using as desired.
