2 cups dark chocolate chips

1 1/2 cups store-bought applesauce

1 tsp peppermint extract

1 (6 oz) Keebler® Ready Crust® Chocolate Pie Crust

1/4 cup finely crushed candy canes

To a medium microwave-safe bowl, add the chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-sec. intervals, until melted, stirring in between. Stir in the applesauce and peppermint extract. Pour chocolate mixture into prepared piecrust.

Freeze 4–5 hours, until firm. Sprinkle crushed candy canes around rim of cake, pressing gently to adhere. Let sit at room temperature for 10–30 min. to thaw before slicing and serving.
Tips
Serve this cake with whipped cream or ice cream.
