Hot Caramel Apple Cider

Ingredients

> 3 cups apple cider
> 2 tbsp caramel syrup, plus more to drizzle
> 1 cinnamon stick
> 1 tsp vanilla extract
> 1/8 tsp salt
> Whipped cream, to garnish

In a small pot on medium, combine the cider, caramel, and cinnamon stick. Whisk until caramel starts to dissolve. Reduce to medium-low and simmer 3–4 min., until hot.

Remove pot from heat and stir in vanilla and salt. Divide between mugs and garnish with the cinnamon stick, if desired. Top with the whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel.
