Meatball Sub on a Stick

Take this Italian-American classic on the go with these 5-ingredient skewers. For an extra bonus, try topping them with shredded mozzarella cheese for the full meatball sub flavor.

Ingredients

> 1 (13.8 oz) can refrigerated pizza crust
> 1/2 (28 oz) pkg frozen Nature's Promise® Chicken Meatballs, thawed
> 2 tbsp olive oil
> 2 tsp garlic powder
> 1/2 cup marinara sauce, warmed

Preheat oven to 375°F. Unroll the pizza crust dough and, using a serrated knife, slice dough lengthwise into 12 even strips. Thread one end of dough strip onto a 10-inch skewer; add 1 meatball, leaving ¼ inch between dough and meatball. Weave dough back over meatball onto skewer. Continue threading with dough and 2 more meatballs. Repeat process with remaining ingredients.

Place skewers 1 inch apart on a parchment-lined baking sheet. In a small bowl, stir together the olive oil and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper. Gently brush skewers with seasoned olive oil.

Bake skewers 15–20 min., rotating baking sheet once halfway through cooking, until dough is golden brown. Add the marinara sauce to a small microwave-safe dish. Microwave 1 min., until warmed. Serve skewers with marinara sauce.
