One-Pot Cheesy Beef Macaroni

Take two kid-friendly favorites–pasta with meat sauce and macaroni and cheese–and combine them into an incredible one-pot meal. Winner, winner, One-Pot Cheesy Beef Macaroni dinner!

> 1 tbsp olive oil
> 1 lb 90% lean ground beef
> 1 tsp onion powder
> 1/2 tsp garlic powder
> 1 cup marinara sauce
> 2 1/2 cups water
> 1 (14 oz) box Deluxe Macaroni and Cheese Dinner
> 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)


In a medium Dutch oven or pot, heat the oil on medium-high. Add the beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook 5–7 min., until beef has browned, using back of spoon to break up meat.
To beef, stir in the onion powder and garlic powder. Add the marinara sauce and water. Season with salt and pepper and bring to a boil. Remove cheese sauce packet from the Macaroni & Cheese Dinner box and set aside. Add the pasta to Dutch oven. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cook 8–10 min., until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally and adding up to ½ cup water if more is needed.
Once pasta is cooked, remove from heat. Stir in cheese sauce from packet. Sprinkle the chopped parsley over top, if desired, and serve.
