Minute® Sesame Ginger Rice Salad

Take your taste buds on a trip to Asia with this flavorful Sesame Ginger Rice Salad made with Minute® Instant Brown Rice, crunchy vegetables and a delicious sesame dressing. Prepare it ahead of time to enhance the flavors and be ready when hunger strikes.

> 2 cups Minute ® Brown Rice
> 1 can (15 oz) mandarin orange segments
> 1 tsp ground ginger
> 1 can (8 oz) sliced water chestnuts, drained and chopped
> 1/2 cup Asian sesame salad dressing
> 3 green onions, thinly sliced


Drain mandarin oranges, reserving liquid. Add enough water to reserved liquid to measure 2 cups. Stir in ginger.
Prepare rice according to package directions, substituting reserved mandarin orange liquid for water.
Add water chestnuts, celery, dressing and green onions; mix lightly. Gently stir in oranges.
