Morning Mocha-Coffee Smoothie

Combine your coffee and breakfast smoothie in one refreshing cup. Banana, cherries, and maple syrup all bring a little sweetness, while silken tofu adds creaminess and some protein, too

Ingredients

> 1 cup cooled coffee or cold-brew coffee
> 1 large banana
> 1 cup frozen sweet dark cherries
> 1 cup frozen cauliflower rice
> 1/2 cup silken tofu
> 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder, plus more to garnish
> 2 tsp maple syrup (optional)
> 1 tbsp hemp seeds, chia seeds, or flaxseeds (optional)

Steps

In a blender, combine the coffee, banana, cherries, cauliflower rice, tofu, cocoa powder, and, if using, the maple syrup and hemp hearts, chia seeds, or flaxseeds. Purée 1–2 min., until smooth. Divide smoothie between 2 glasses. Dust tops with cocoa powder, if desired.

Tips

Decaf coffee or cooled black tea can be substituted for the coffee.
