One-Bowl 7 Layer Bars

Salty, buttery crackers make the base of our easy 7 Layer Bars and balance the sweetness of the toppings. These are perfect for the holidays or any time a sweet-and-salty craving strikes.

Ingredients

> 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter
> 50 Club ™ Crackers
> 1 cup butterscotch chips
> 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
> 1 cup chopped walnuts
> 1 cup sweetened flaked coconut (optional)
> 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

Preheat oven to 350°F. To a 9x13-inch baking dish, add the butter. Bake 2–3 min., until butter is completely melted, then remove dish from oven. Meanwhile, add the crackers to a food processor and process 30 sec.–1 min., until fine crumbs form. (You should have 1½ cups cracker crumbs.) Add crushed crackers to melted butter. Stir with a fork to combine, then press firmly into an even layer.

In a large bowl, combine the butterscotch chips, chocolate chips, walnuts, and coconut, if using. Toss to combine. Scatter mixture evenly over cracker base. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over ingredients. If desired, add a pinch of salt on top.

Bake 30–40 min., until edges are golden brown and middle is set. Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
