Ranch-Glazed Spiral Ham

Store-bought ranch dressing and seasoning mix are the not-so-secret ingredients for the finger-licking glaze in this traditional holiday main. Complemented by the sweetness from honey, brown sugar, and fresh orange juice, this is a centerpiece ham worthy of any holiday spread.

Ingredients

> 3/4 cup ranch dressing
> 1 (1 oz) pkg dry ranch seasoning mix
> 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
> 1/4 cup honey
> 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
> 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
> 2 oranges, divided
> 1 (8 -10 lb) bone-in spiral-cut half ham
> Fresh rosemary and parsley sprigs, to garnish

Steps

1
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a medium bowl, whisk together the ranch dressing, ranch seasoning, brown sugar, honey, mustard, vinegar, and juice of 1 orange.
2
Fit a roasting pan with a rack and fill with ½ inch water. Place the ham on rack flat-side down. Pour half the glaze over ham and brush all over surface, getting into the cracks and crevices. Cover pan tightly with foil and bake 14 min. per pound (about 2 hours to 2 hours 30 min.), until internal temperature reaches 140°F.
3
Halfway through baking, remove ham from oven and uncover. Pour remaining glaze over ham and brush all over. Continue baking, uncovered, basting occasionally with pan juices.
4
Let rest 10 min. To serve, slice ham off the bone and transfer to a platter. Slice remaining orange into wedges. Garnish with orange wedges and herb sprigs.
