Smoked Salmon–Wrapped Melon Wedges

This simple three-ingredient snack is a fresh take on the classic prosciutto-wrapped melon. Smoked salmon and everything sesame seasoning are a perfect pairing for the juicy melon.

Ingredients

> 1 cantaloupe or honeydew melon (about 3 lbs)
> 1 (8 oz) pkg pre-sliced smoked salmon
> 3 tbsp Taste of Inspirations® Everything Sesame Seasoning (optional)

Steps

Cut the rind off the melon and scoop out seeds. Cut melon into ¾-inch-thick wedges. Carefully separate the smoked salmon slices and wrap slices around melon wedges. Arrange wrapped wedges on a platter and sprinkle the everything sesame seasoning over top, if using.

Tips

To make your own everything sesame seasoning, combine ¼ cup sesame seeds, 2 tbsp poppy seeds, 2 tbsp dried minced onion, 1 tsp coarse ground black pepper, and ¼ tsp coarse sea salt.
